Napoli fan arrested over Inter supporter death before Serie A clash

A Napoliultra buff has been arrested and accused of murdering the Inter Milan supporter who died after clashes beyond the San Siro ahead of a Serie A match last December.
A 39-year-old Napoli fan, fabio Manduca, is accused of driving the SUV that struck a 35-year-old Inter supporter who perished in the clashes on December 26, Daniele Belardinelli.
Manduca, who has a lengthy criminal record, was charged with manslaughter.
Prosecutors believe that Manduca, who refused to answer inquiries by police from the investigation, has ties to the Camorra crime syndicate.
The game was also marred by racist chants which targeted Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Back in March, five Inter fans including the clubsultra leaders Marco Piovella and Nino Ciccarelli were sentenced to nearly four decades because of their roles in the clashes.
