Club Brugge have held talks over a deal to sign Ryan Kent from Liverpool, Sky Sports News understands.
The 22-year-old is keen to depart Liverpool before the close of the transfer window and has also drawn interest.
The side and Liverpool on the weekend have been talking together, but are yet to strike a bargain.
Kent was keeping his options open, despite having his heart set on a return to Rangers.
Sky Sports News disclosed in March that Rangers faced a battle to sign a permanent deal following a loan spell at Ibrox with the winger.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed that it’s Liverpool’s preference to sell Kent and Sky Sports News understands the Reds worth him at around #7m.
Kent created 27 league appearances last year, scoring six goals as Rangers finished in 2nd place at the 25, and also providing four assists.
Club Brugge were also keen to deliver in Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama however, the potential # 12m deal for its Kenya still stays in the balance as the deadline of Monday nears.
