BIG MARLEY’S UFC FIGHT NIGHT 133 DRAFT KINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

This week, we have a 13-fight card at Boise, Idaho. It’s headlined by Junior Dos Santos vs Blagoy Ivanov, that will be making his UFC debut. DraftKings has smaller contests for this card since it’s only a Fight Night card using lesser known name, but there is still well over $100k to be obtained. I will be pursuing my fair share of the money and that I hope you guys will be too. Here are a couple plays I like this weekend and my fade of this week.
Cash Game play of the week — Alexander Volkanovski ($9,200)
I believe Volkanovski is the»safest» drama on this particular card along with his -300 gaming lineup would concur with me. That’s where I’ll be starting my lineup this week and I’ll figure out the rest from there. Volkanovski averages 116.5 DK points through his first four UFC fights therefore he has a whole lot of upside as well. He could possible score more than two other winners on this card combined. I really do think he is in drama for GPPs as well for this reason, but he will likely be the most peculiar owned fighter on the card and we don’t care about possession as much in cash games. I’d suggest paying up for the expensive cost in your cash games and then search for at least 3 others wins you are confident in.
GPP drama of this week — Junior Dos Santos ($8,700)
JDS ought to be the way better striker in this fight and I believe this is where the fight will take place. He could get KO’d at the opening seconds of the fight and score 0 points, but this is what makes him a GPP drama instead of a cash match play. With these two Heavyweights, we should likely see a KO within the 25-minues and that I think the former winner, JDS, are the one to receive it. He has great takedown defense so he should be able to maintain this battle on the feet where he’ll have a 4-inch reach benefit to work with.
Underdog drama of the week — Niko Price ($7,900)
Niko is going to be my underdog play of this week. The odds demonstrate that the fight ought to be fairly close and there is a good possibility he utilizes his wrestling to gain the advantage. In 5 fights that he hasn’t seen a decision however, and there is a possibility it remains that way if he gets Brown into the floor. Niko has some slick entrances in his arsenal and a lot of heart. On the feet, Brown likely has the advantage with his reach, but Cost does have some sneaky power also, which can’t be overlooked. Overall, I enjoy this as a GPP play.
Fade of the week — Alejandro Perez ($9,100)
Perez is the 2nd most expensive fighter on this card and he is just $100 cheaper than Volkanovski. In my opinion, Perez will need a end to have a shot at paying off that pricey salary and that I don’t wish to invest in that, personally. He’s never landed more than one takedown in a fight and Wineland has excellent takedown defense, therefore we must see this battle take place on the toes. I think Perez needs to be the person to get his hand raised in the end but I think it will be through conclusion. If that is true then he can score ~60 points in a win, and at $9.1k that is not likely to win anyone a championship. I will be complete fading Perez this week and hoping he doesn’t get the end and he is my official fade of the week.
